Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or areas in need of repair
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and machinery
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently
-Maintaining the grounds and floors of the hotel
-Be on a rotating on call schedule for emergency issues
Experience:
- Maintenance experience
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge and experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
