Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Supervise and guide junior maintenance staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Execute painting tasks as part of facility upkeep.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, with a strong emphasis on hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
- Previous experience using CMMS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team and with other departments.
- Experience in residential painting is considered a valuable asset.
