Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and supervising junior staff as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting, including the use of an ohmmeter to diagnose issues.
- Fabricate components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and machinery.
- Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance in daily operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, welding, and fabrication.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring others is a plus.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
