Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure that linens and garments are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience at our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques and detergents.
- Manage dry cleaning processes for garments as needed, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
