Hotel Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and timelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff or clients.
• Weld components as necessary to repair or fabricate equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Experience in supervising maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand schematics for effective problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in fabrication or welding is a plus.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and quality in all maintenance tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
