Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including hotels and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
• Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and fresh for guests.
• Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Assist with cooking and preparing light meals as needed for staff or guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus, particularly in maintaining guest satisfaction through cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
• A friendly demeanor with effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
