JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Landscape/Lawn Maintenance/Snow Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our landscape design (we are not looking for a designer), installation, lawn care and maintenance services to both residential and commercial clients. Additionally, this position will also focus on commercial snow sales. This role requires a commitment to building relationships with new clients and driving revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing efforts. This position will have a salary base but heavily incentivized with commission, offering significant earning potential for individuals who are passionate about sales and landscaping services.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the residential and commercial markets by generating leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and various marketing channels within Waukesha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Washington counties.
- Represent the company at local networking events and industry trade shows to promote services and generate leads.
- Conduct site assessments and provide clients with tailored landscape solutions based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Proposal & Contract Management:
- Present detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for landscape services, ensuring that all specifications are clearly defined.
- Discuss contract terms with clients to close deals and secure contracts generated by our estimating team. NOTE: You will not be generating your own estimates. You will be fully supported by our estimating team, so you are able to get back in front of a prospective client as soon as possible.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, landscape design, products, and services, as well as competitor offerings.
- Educate clients on available services, including design, installation, maintenance, and seasonal care.
- Sales Targets & Reporting:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas set by the leadership team.
- Provide weekly sales reports, market feedback, and customer insights to the leadership team.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure client projects are executed according to the agreed-upon specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the landscape industry preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with landscaping services, including hardscape and planting landscape design presentations, irrigation turf care, maintenance, and snow removal.
- Understanding of the local market and industry trends.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients.
- Ability to listen to prospects and understand their desired scope of work.
- Self-motivated with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to build rapport with clients and close sales.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Use our CRM software to create tickets used to follow up and record client history.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in horticulture, landscape design, business, or a related field is a plus.
- License/Certification:
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- This is a salary-based position with a commission incentivization to provide maximum earning potential.
