RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Regional Business Office Manager, your primary responsibility is to implement and maintain systems to support operations of the Business Office in an effective, efficient manner to ensure financially sound company operations.
- Travel to facilities in your region to conduct training with support personnel.
- Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis.
- Coordinate business office functions with other departments within the facility.
- Handle correspondence related to business office functions.
- Orient, instruct, and direct facility business office personnel.
- Handle resident/family concerns relating to billing and payments.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new Business Office procedures.
- Communicate and work cooperatively with fiscal intermediaries, accountants, auditors, and cost preparers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior Business Office Manager experience in a long term care setting
- Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and Private billing/collections experience
- Manager/supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
