Responsibilities
- Coordinate Batching Schedules and Production: Ensure that batching schedules are met and that production aligns with planned timelines.
- Manufacture Products: Follow formulations provided by the Corporate Office to produce all products accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment, including keeping installation, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules up-to-date.
- Ingredient Receiving: Receive and unload ingredients from barges, railcars, and/or trucks at the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-organized.
- Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, company safety rules, and policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Educational Requirements: High school level reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with various individuals.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in and promote a team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
