We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Document Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience with document control and/or QA experience. This role will be responsible for gathering and organizing extensive data and information from various managers, managing technical documents, and ensuring they adhere to company standards. This role requires familiarity with creating data books, reading and interpreting ASME forms, data sheets, and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and manage technical documents, drawings, and records from multiple departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Create and maintain data books, including organizing required documentation and ensuring they are up to date.
- Read and interpret ASME forms, data sheets, and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to ensure all documentation is aligned with engineering and quality standards.
- Maintain version control and document history tracking for all technical and operational documents.
- Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for document management, markup, and collaboration.
- Assist in the preparation of data books and provide support for audits or regulatory compliance as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve documentation issues and discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, report generation, and documentation verification.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an office environment within a manufacturing company.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Access and Excel for data management, reporting, and creating documentation.
- Experience creating and managing data books.
- Familiarity with ASME forms, data sheets, and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including BOMs, data sheets, and engineering change notices.
- Experience working with Bluebeam or similar document management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices is a plus.
