We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Weld Inspector / Quality Control professional with Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials. The Weld Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all welding activities meet the required standards and specifications, supporting production teams, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of welds to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO).
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds, including but not limited to VT, PT, MT, or UT.
- Review and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Identify and document non-conformances, and work with production and engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct audits of welding processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and welding specifications.
- Provide training and support to welders on quality standards and best practices.
