Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive the development of new business opportunities and nurture relationships that secure valuable sales contracts for our company. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining customer relationships, facilitating the proposal process, and supporting contract negotiations and client presentations.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, or a related field is required.
Physical Demands
This role entails frequent travel in a vehicle, occasional office and shop visits, maintaining a stationary position for extended periods, and effective communication. You must be able to detect emergency alarms and monitor equipment and materials. Regular use of a computer and office equipment is essential, and you may occasionally move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Frequent overnight travel is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Assisting in creating budgets and pricing estimates with standard models.
- Drafting comprehensive proposals that effectively communicate project elements and facilitating the presentation to sponsors.
- Maintaining clear communication with internal teams about proposal outcomes and expectations to ensure alignment.
- Tracking and reporting on the progress of all proposal components.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to proactively address and resolve potential issues.
- Contributing to team management efforts that enhance our organization's reputation through value-added activities.
- Performing other assignments as directed by supervisors or executive management.

Computer Skills
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software, electronic mail, order processing, inventory, manufacturing software, and database management.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems, alongside administrative expertise in budgeting, data collection, and capital equipment analysis.
Special Knowledge or Skills
Strong interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to think strategically and consistently apply sound judgment in problem-solving. Excellent written, oral communication, and negotiation skills are crucial. You should be able to inspire and motivate a team while influencing desired outcomes within targeted timeframes. Familiarity with inventory management, job cost control, and timely delivery systems is advantageous. A foundation of personal and professional integrity and credibility is essential.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not involve direct supervision, but you are expected to take ownership of your work and be accountable for your actions. You will address customer concerns promptly and resolve issues in line with organizational policies and applicable federal and state laws.
