What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer position at Quality Marine?
We are seeking a talented and versatile Photographer to join our team at our Los Angeles facility. In this role, you will capture and post-edit high-quality images of saltwater and freshwater aquarium fish, corals, invertebrates, plants, and aquarium supplies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and help elevate our brand through stunning visual content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography and post-editing, particularly using the Adobe Suite, with a focus on Lightroom, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos that reflect our brand aesthetic and marketing objectives.
- Edit photos and videos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop visually compelling content that communicates our brand story.
- Photography and Post-Editing:
- Plan and execute engaging photoshoots, including aquatic life, product, and lifestyle photography.
- Edit and watermark photos to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Create visual digital and print assets for marketing materials, social media, and the company website.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop; familiarity with InDesign is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is advantageous.
- Experience in aquarium keeping and knowledge of aquatic life is a plus.
What We Offer:
- Full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles, California.
- Competitive hourly rate of $19.00 - $21.00, based on experience.
- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
