Job Summary
Maintain machinery/equipment in top working conditions to minimize and eliminate downtime. Oversee installations and upgrades of equipment to improve efficiencies and increase through-put.
Responsibilities
The majority of the time is spent in the Stamping area. It will frequently be necessary to spend time on the manufacturing floor in a shop environment where the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or equipment, loud noises, machining noise, warm temperatures, airborne particles, possible electrical shock, chemicals and fumes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sits, stands, and uses hands, arms and fingers to perform routine tasks. Normal vision and hearing is required.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Observe all MIOSHA and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
- Ensures that the Stamping Presses and peripheral equipment are running as intended.
- Oversee PM process and WO process for stamping presses and peripheral equipment.
- Provide support for Maintenance and Production to assure stamping presses are functioning and providing quality products.
- Required paperwork to be filled out and submitted in a timely manner.
- Training Maintenance and Production personnel on equipment.
- Oversee spare parts and repairs relevant to stamping presses and peripheral equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8 years’ experience with stamping presses, feeders, straighteners and conveyors
- Ability to troubleshoot machines to diagnose problems.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic electrical codes including knowledge of pulling wire, electrical components, switches, high voltage, and control centers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, plans, and operating manuals.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to assemble and disassemble parts and systems.
- Ability to “think outside the box” and figure out problems associated with production operations.
- Must be able to verbally communicate with team members, supervisors, and Engineers.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work with solvents, oils, and grease.
- Troubleshoots hydraulic lubrication systems to determine necessary repairs to regain functionality.
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
