Job Summary
Production Welder is responsible for the positioning, alignment, and fitting together fabricated plates, structural shapes, and weldments to assembly into structural fabricated products.
Responsibilities
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The majority of the time is spent on the shop floor. It will frequently be necessary to spend time on the manufacturing floor in a shop environment where the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or equipment, loud noises, machining noise, warm temperatures, airborne particles, possible electrical shock, chemicals and fumes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sits, stands, and uses hands, arms and fingers to perform routine tasks. Normal vision and hearing is required.

Job Summary
Production Welder is responsible for the positioning, alignment, and fitting together fabricated plates, structural shapes, and weldments to assembly into structural fabricated products.
Responsibilities
- Observe all MIOSHA and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
- Holds, positions, and fixtures to assist in setup
- Places, and moves blocking, braces, and jigs to hold parts
- Hammers wedges, drift pins, and turns turnbuckles. Pull pry bars to align parts
- Grinds or chips rough edges, surplus weld, or scale
- Positions and turns clamps, and bolts together butt straps or parts
- Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment
- Performs other routine duties
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Experience MIG and TIG welding with various metal materials required (steel, aluminum, etc.).
- CW certification preferred
