As we grow, our facility is looking for a Tooling Designer who understands the world of designing metal stamping tools. Ideally, the right candidate will be able to conceptualize, plan and execute the design of metal stamping tools; apply new or existing manufacturing processes; and will work with Engineering to determine the best route to prototype part production. In our world, that path moves quickly, allowing our designers to see their parts fly from CAD to CNC and beyond.

If you have a minimum of 5 years experience in designing stamping dies and are proficient with UG/NX, apply now. We do prefer candidates have 3D experience and Autoform experience is a plus; but, if you have a demonstrated knowledge of the metal stamping industry and industry practices, apply now!

So, if you can...
- Design, develop, and manufacture new tooling for Sheetmetal parts using UG/NX and Autoform.
- Review specifications such as GD&T, blueprints, and sketches.
- Make engineering changes to existing designs and carryout ECN's
- Work with internal and external customers on design concepts.
- Work with team during tool development to ensure parts meet the customers requirement
- Report project status to management on a regular basis
- Function in a collaborative environment, assisting other designers and staff to achieve quality product in time sensitive situations
- Reverse engineer and update die designs.
