As we expand our services and impact, we’re looking for a Clinical Director who can help lead our agency to the next level—with a strong background in national accreditation processes and standards.
🔍 Position OverviewThe Clinical Director will provide clinical oversight, strategic leadership, and operational support across all mental health programs. This individual will ensure the highest standards of care while also guiding the agency through national accreditation and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a licensed mental health professional with supervisory experience and a proven history of preparing for and successfully achieving CARF accreditation.
💼 Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and leadership to licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Oversee quality assurance and clinical documentation to meet agency, state, and national standards.
- Lead and manage national accreditation and re-accreditation processes (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission).
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Collaborate with leadership on program development, expansion, and compliance.
- Ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and ethical service delivery.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Quality Moments in audits, accreditation surveys, and stakeholder meetings.
- Master's degree (or higher) in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- Current clinical license (e.g., LISW, LPCC, LMFT) in Ohio
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health settings, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading successful national accreditation processes (CARF).
- Deep understanding of evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and quality assurance.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Accreditation experience
- Experience in outpatient, community-based, or residential behavioral health settings
