Job Description :
We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver comprehensive in-home services and support to individuals with mental health, behavioral, developmental, and other cognitive challenges.
DSPs work closely with clients who have physical, intellectual, and cognitive conditions. They aid in daily living tasks and promote attitudes and behaviors that enable the individual to integrate into their community or the least restrictive environment.
Their objective is to foster independence and enhance the client's quality of life.
Work hours range from 25 to 32 hours weekly.
Advocating for the client's needs, self-expression, and objectives
Instructing life skills, cultivating healthy habits, and reinforcing positive behaviors
Reducing or eliminating maladaptive behaviors
Assisting with self-care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
Fostering sensory and motor skill development
Providing conversation and companionship
Generating opportunities for clients to partake in favored activities
Encouraging clients to establish and pursue personal objectives
Performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and cooking
Providing transportation to and from appointments
Salary : 21.00 PER HOUR

Qualifications :
We're specifically looking for people with training and experience working with children who are living with a diagnosis of autism.
Wea are also looking for individuals with experience with working with individuals living with a mental health, and physical disability.
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of relevant & verifiable work experience
A valid driver's license, current insurance, a reliable vehicle & a clean driving record
Good communication skills & the ability to read, write & speak in English
Physically able to complete personal cares
Able to pass a background & drug screening
Available to work days, nights, and weekend
