We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our collaborative team in Burlington, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the organization through handling various HR functions, including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Performance Management, Conflict Resolution and Compliance, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes within the organization.

What will the HR Generalist be accountable for at QPSI?
- Manage day-to-day HR operations at the site level, which includes but is not limited to; staffing, sourcing and recruitment, new hire onboarding, payroll administration, benefit administration, employee engagement and relations.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees to ensure smooth transition and knowledge transfer
- Participates in developing department goals to meet corporate objectives
- Participate and contribute to department and organization meetings
- Administer disciplinary action when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policy and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency with disciplinary practices
- Collaborate with EHS for safety incidents and investigations to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences while ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations
- Facilitate conflict resolution efforts to address and mediate employee disputes effectively
- Maintain accurate HRIS and data records to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws to mitigate risks and sure fair practices
- Advisor for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
- Manage employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to staff and management.
- Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes, systems and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with management to promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
What Qualified Candidates for the HR Generalist role must have to be successful at QPSI
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with minimum 3 years of experience of Human Resources experience, or
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field with 2 years of Human Resources experience, or
- Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience or similar combination of education and experience
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR), preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, and HR principles and best practices
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take the initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and understand English, bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to communicate and interact across all departments within organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and protected employee information
- Familiarity with HRIS system, ADP preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
