Job Title: Residential Plumbing & HVAC Technician

We are looking for a professional candidate to join our team. The candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing or mechanical systems in residential settings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing or mechanical systems are functioning properly and meet all safety and building codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing or mechanical units, pipes, and appliances, ensuring adherence to industry standards

• Maintain clear and open communication with customers, explaining plumbing or mechanical issues, proposed solutions, and the steps involved in any work.

• Provide outstanding customer service by being responsive, courteous, and attentive to client needs and concerns, fostering long-term relationships.

• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing/mechanical calls, assessing situations efficiently and implementing effective solutions to minimize damage.

• Approach each customer situation with empathy, actively listening to their concerns and providing reassurance during stressful plumbing emergencies.

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for plumbing or mechanical services and materials, ensuring transparency and clarity in pricing for customers.

• Analyze plumbing or mechanical issues to devise quick and effective solutions, demonstrating flexibility and ingenuity in resolving complex problems.

• Work together with other tradespeople to facilitate seamless plumbing or mechanical installations and repairs on construction and renovation projects.

• Stay updated on plumbing or mechanical codes and regulations, ensuring all work is compliant to maintain safety and quality standards.

• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions to streamline operations and support future service requests.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical systems, materials, and equipment.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a plumber or HVAC.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs) regularly.

• Capability to work in confined spaces and at various heights.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

• Dexterity and coordination to perform precise tasks in tight spaces.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
