Dock Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dock Manager. The ideal candidate will possess Seafood Knowledge, strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and inventory control.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including shipping and receiving processes. (Upon receiving product inspect and verify all product is received).
• Oversee inventory control (with various products) to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize losses as well as Quality Control in boiled products.
• Implement effective production planning strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance, ensuring dock and coolers are kept clean.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Manage all aspects of Drivers/Routes and coordination of loading of trucks for delivery.
• Will have to work Saturdays

Qualifications

• Seafood Knowledge
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and freight logistics.
• Experience in production planning and managing shipping/receiving activities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
