Marketing Technology Manager

Position Summary:

Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an experienced Marketing Technology Manager to help manage our digital presence across the company.

The Marketing Technology Manager will undertake the responsibility of assisting the Marketing department with various digital projects. With oversight from the Chief Marketing Officer and other corporate level colleagues, the Marketing Technology Manager will manage and maintain all servers, domains, and tech platforms. The Marketing Technology Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining integration between tech platforms, building automations, dashboards, and more.

At a high level, the Information Technology will be responsible for executing digital infrastructure across Quality Roots

Qualifications:

The Marketing Technology Manager must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Marketing, Retail, Inventory, and other teams to establish and complete department goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain getqualityroots.com as well as all associated domains for ad purposes
• Develop new website features with Dutchie / Flowhub APIs
• Help build and develop online properties for hemp business
• Develop and maintain integrations across tech platforms such as Email (Klaviyo), SMS providers, loyalty systems, and more
• Automate digital workflows for marketing and retail teams
• Build and maintain dashboards to keep track of tech and marketing KPIs
• Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist CMO with coordinating third-party vendors for IT procurement, support, and services
• Research and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and data analytics.

Skills:

• Must have an understanding of Google Workspace suite
• Strong attention to detail
• WordPress experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of IT management concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with retail IT systems in regulated industries, preferably cannabis
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC, PCI, etc)
• Project management software experience, Monday.com experience preferred
• Understanding of cannabis industry trends and general cannabis education

Requirements:

• IT management experience minimum of 2 years preferred
• Bachelor in IT / Business Systems other related work experience preferred
• Full-time availability (40-45 hours per week) Monday through Friday, some weekends as needed
• Must be 21 years old
• Valid Driver License with reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the State of Michigan (as needed, mileage reimbursement provided)
• Can lift up to 20lbs
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions
• In-office position

Compensation:

• Salary $60,000-85,000/yr (negotiable based on experience)
