Position Summary
Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an experienced Content Creator to help manage our digital presence across the company.
We're seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator with a passion for short-form video to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in producing engaging and impactful content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and short-form video advertisements. This role requires a deep understanding of current trends, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to adapt content to the cannabis retail industry while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will primarily be working with our Digital Marketing Manager to implement content across platforms, but will not be responsible for managing socials or posting content directly.
Qualifications
The Content Creator must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Marketing, Retail, Inventory, and other teams to establish and complete department goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Content Creation :
Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content (reels, TikToks, stories, and ads) that align with the brand's voice and aesthetic.
Film and edit : 5-90 second reels for social media channels focused on retail environment, products, and lifestyle.
Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in social media, video content, and the cannabis industry.
Adhere to all company branding guidelines and legal regulations surrounding cannabis advertising.
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
