Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will provide expertise and leadership around equipment maintenance. This position will oversee the setup, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and storage of production equipment to ensure proper and efficient operation In the contract packaging, busy times can result due to project availability and deadlines. During these busy times, employees may be instructed to temporarily take on additional or new tasks that are not part of their normal jobs. The company expects its employees to perform these new or additional tasks when instructed and to a satisfactory level. Extensive Packaging Production Warehouse. Production Knowledge is a must.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-Finish at $23-$25 DOE

Qualifications and Duties:
- Direct report to the Director of Operations/Operations Manager
- Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program for production equipment
- Stays current on industry/mechanical best practices to ensure equipment reliability and operating time
- Communicates with outside service providers to schedule service.
- Tracks and document all preventive maintenance tasks.
- Trains and develops Maintenance Mechanics to develop skill and proficiency levels
- Ensure the lines are running efficiently and safely
- Performs all line setup and breakdown tasks
- Works with production staff to adjust machines to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoots and develops solutions for fix equipment breakdowns or emergency issues * Follows and champions all GMP and safety regulations
- Maintains an equipment/parts inventory and connects with Operations Manager on repairs/parts needed
- Inspect all equipment daily for safe operation
- Develops and implements a building maintenance schedule, which covers items not under the lease. Trains associates how to safely and properly operate equipment
- Trained in Lock Out Tag Out
- Travels to new locations to help setup new equipment and train new associates and maintenance mechanics Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time. Qualifications Qualifications include:
- At least five years of production/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Must have complete understanding of PLC and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment
- High School Diploma, GED or other maintenance credential
- An ability to interpret Build of Material flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
- Excellent proven interpersonal verbal and listening communication skills
- Computer hardware and associated software (Word, Excel, order entry)
- Time management skills
- Lock Out Tag Out
- HVAC
- Electrical background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
