Construction Foreman

An established heavy civil construction firm near Anne Arundel County is seeking a structured and detail-focused Construction Foreman with a proven ability at managing a team successfully to complete various construction projects. The Construction Foreman will ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications, while overseeing equipment, materials, and a small crew of construction workers.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ of related experience and extensive knowledge of construction techniques, particularly with pile driving.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with marine construction experience to play a key role with an established company.
Salary: $66,560 - $93,600/annually, based on experience

Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the construction crew to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects
- Train new crew members on safely operating construction equipment
- Read construction drawings, and plans adhering to specifications
- Prepare reports generated from project management software
- Maintain regular routine maintenance of construction equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Senior - Level Experience, 3 years of experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in civil, marine or heavy construction
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of marine construction techniques, materials, and safety standards
- Experience operating and maintaining construction equipment
- Familiarity with project management software is a plus
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
