Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is seeking experienced Custodial Workers to work through our agency as a contract employee with the State of Tennessee School for the Deaf (TN TSD) located in Knoxville, TN. This is an on-site position working from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour. Custodial Worker Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to : -Serve as a lead custodian with leadership tasks assigned by supervisor.-Operate and / or utilize a variety of custodial related tools and equipment, including floor washing machines, buffers, and vacuums.-Perform general physical activities such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, floor stripping, waxing, and buffing floor by hand or machine.-Clean restrooms by sanitizing showers, toilets, cleaning sinks, washing floors and walls, cleaning mirrors, and emptying trash.-Clean offices, classrooms, or other facilities by dusting furniture, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, washing walls and windows, emptying trash, and straightening work areas.-Police grounds to pick up trash and check for any other needed maintenance.-May keep simple records and make routine reports of facility deficiencies and materials needed to accomplish work.-Perform light maintenance of equipment utilized.-Train new custodial workers.
