Goddard Mason Executive Search, a dedicated division of Quality Staffing, Inc., is seeking a motivated individual to immediately join the team of our North Georgia-Metro Atlanta based equipment manufacturing client as a Mechanical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will earn an annualized salary of $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience and qualifications. The Mechanical Design Engineer will engage engineering and sales team members in servicing clients through equipment and process design to meet their needs. This will be demonstrated by conducting the following (included but not limited to) duties & responsibilities : Duties and Responsibilities-Perform technical sales & design responsibilities. -Conduct design layout equipment installations for manufacturing plants.-Manages AutoCAD system during design.-Initiate sales quotes procedure & process for the team.-Accountable for spec sheets for final sale.-Delivers technical knowledge for all audiences, internal and external.Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills-This North Georgia based position will need to realize and commit to relocating to another location in northern Georgia or South Carolina. This commitment is required.-3 years of strong experience utilizing AutoCAD and providing quotations required.-Proficient in AutoCAD design for new manufacturing plants - layout equipment installations.-Technical engineering sales and support experience-Comfortable working and communicating with customers on design layout projects.-Ability to travel with sales team (minimal 5-10%) -Able to stand, sit and lift up to 50lbs., if required.Education-High School Diploma or GED Benefits-Annual raises & bonuses.-Overtime pay - very good opportunity not offered to many salaried positions!-Excellent Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k.-Discount programs.-Opportunity for growth and much more!
