Yard Operator - Telehandler

Hours are currently Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner. This includes wearing all required personal protective equipment.
• Inspect equipment to be utilized prior to shift start.
• Receive finished (painted) tanks via conveyor to unload.
• Utilize forklift and/or telehandler to transport tanks from Unloading Station to Trailer.
• Perform Quality Control. Visually inspect tanks for defects prior to loading. Report defects to Supervisor.
• Properly secure/load tanks onto trailer (flat-bed).
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and mobile equipment.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of General Labor experience (Loading, Unloading), preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate Forklift and Telehandler.
• Ability to record data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely withstand exposure to elements of the weather while working.
• Detail-orientated/attentive to detail to ensure safety and quality.
• Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.

Education and Certification Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift Certification preferred
