What You’ll Do:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in supporting residents’ well-being and overall care, including:
- Providing Guidance and Support – Offer compassionate advice to residents and their families.
- Medication & Treatment Administration – Monitor residents, administer medications, and deliver treatments as prescribed.
- Accurate Documentation – Chart resident care and activities in both resident and department records.
- Infection Control – Uphold infection-control policies to ensure the health and safety of both residents and staff.
- Collaborative Problem Solving – Work with a multidisciplinary team to address resident needs effectively.
- Upholding Standards of Care – Maintain the facility’s standards and philosophies of high-quality care.
- Confidentiality – Protect residents' privacy and keep all information confidential.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Valid RN License – Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
- Long-Term Care Experience – Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills – A friendly, team-oriented approach to work.
- Computer Skills – Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with EHR systems is helpful.
- Compassionate and Professional Demeanor – Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
