Facilities Maintenance Technician III Ideal Candidate Profile
QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive and well-organized full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. The Facilities Maintenance & EHS Tech III is responsible for an advanced level of building and ground repairs, major facilities equipment installation and repairs, and support as needed for manufacturing equipment repairs. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and improving company safety systems (OSHA & EPA) to reduce risk exposure for all types of loss including employee injury and property loss or damage.
Facilities Maintenance Technician III Job Summary
- Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and grounds.
- Recommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
- Mentor, train the Facilities Maintenance Tech I & II positions.
- Work independently on projects of advanced complexity.
- Coordinate, develop, and oversee the general health and safety standards for the company.
- Implement initiatives as needed to reduce and prevent incidents that might lead to injuries or loss.
- Assist with the management of outside services and service contracts.
- Develop safety and compliance systems.
- Provide technical support in areas such as Industrial Hygiene, Machine Guarding, and other areas requiring safety education and experience.
- Conduct periodic audits of processes used to control loss.
- Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis.
- Accurately record and report hours worked.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
Qualifications
Facilities Maintenance Technician III Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in EHS related field.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes.
- Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Dexterity and hand and eye coordination.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings.
- Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Pay Range
USD $29.23 - USD $36.54 /Hr.Company Benefits

20 hours:

30 hours:
