Lab Assistant Summary of Job Responsibilities :
- Laboratory Assistants must assist with specimen collection, processing, and distribution.
- Operate and maintain basic lab equipment, following standard procedures.

- Lab Assistants must be able to accurately enter data into lab information systems and maintain organized documentation.
- Clean and sterilize lab equipment and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Follow protocols for quality control and report any issues.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, handling hazardous materials properly.
- Support research projects by following procedures and collecting data.
- Laboratory Assistants must be able to ensure compliance with CA DPH regulations, trainings, and maintain licensures (if any).
