What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agile Product Manager position at Quality Theorem?
The Agile Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing and maintaining the Product Backlog, including the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria. In this position, you will be responsible for the scrum framework, who is responsible for the success of product deliverables and maximizing the value of that product.
Essential Functions:
- Prioritize and maintain the Product Backlog, including the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Serve as the "voice of the customer" for the delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer's and business’s perspective throughout the product realization cycle
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, system architects, quality engineers, and others to develop and execute against SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Product Increment (PI) objectives
- Continuously and transparently communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and the status of development efforts via System Demos, team- and program-level activities
- Define, prioritize, and drive the realization of specific product vision
- Work with Scrum Masters to help direct, motivate, and guide the delivery teams
- Act as the subject-matter expert for assigned products
- Attend all the Scrum seminar
- Collaborate with the team to break down program-level Features into detail-level user stories consumable and testable by the Scrum team
- Collaborate with User Experience partners in usability testing and the development of the user design
- Promote and drive Agile development methodology throughout the work and teams
- Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of defects, and promote built-in quality throughout the development process
- Review, accept and prioritize feedback and new requirements from stakeholders
- Ensure that Scrum Team deliverables meet agreed-upon standards for quality and non-functional requirements and that the products meet the stated business need
- Review completed development work to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been met and that features and stories meet the definition of done
- Lead product community – uphold the principles of agile (e.g., seek collaboration, not consensus, influence, negotiate, integrate
- Empowered to make all critical decisions regarding functionality and priority
- Develops the acceptance criteria for the project - i.e. a succinct statement that defines when the project is done
- Accountable for success including measurement, timeline, scope
Salary : $180,000 - $210,000
