What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASIC System Engineer position at Quality Theorem?
Experience as a System Administrator, with experience managing ASIC design tools
Experience configuring, installing, and maintaining ASIC design tools, such as Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics tools
Experience implementing and administering AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Dynamo DB, etc.
Knowledge of EDA design flows and industry-standard design tools
Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems
Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, OS, Networking, problem solving, and performance tuning
The ability to deal with ambiguity and drive, design, and implement large scale systems
Experience building and maintaining AWS systems is required
Industry certifications such as Synopsys Certified Integration Professional (SCIP), Cadence OrCAD Certification, or Mentor Graphics Verification Academy Certification are highly desirable.
