Job Title: Onsite Test Lead - Life and Annuity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Test Lead with strong expertise in the Life and Annuity business domain and a robust background in Quality Engineering, including functional and automation testing. This role requires an individual who can lead testing activities for life insurance and annuity products while ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met through effective testing strategies. Certification in LOMA (Life Office Management Association) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the testing efforts for Life and Annuity business projects, ensuring the effective implementation of testing strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee functional testing, including test planning, test execution, and defect management for Life and Annuity systems.
• Design and implement automation test strategies using industry best practices and tools to ensure optimal test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Manage end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and test closure.
• Lead the creation and execution of regression, performance, and security tests for Life and Annuity applications and services.
• Review and validate business requirements to ensure quality deliverables and align testing efforts with business goals.
• Ensure test environments and data are properly set up for testing, while maintaining consistency across different testing stages.
• Identify and resolve defects and roadblocks throughout the testing process, ensuring timely resolution to maintain project timelines.
• Provide continuous feedback to development teams, ensuring high-quality product releases.
• Maintain detailed and accurate test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends, specifically related to the Life and Annuity domain.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years of experience in Life and Annuity business domain.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in functional testing and automation testing, including knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and methodologies.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Life and Annuity products, processes, and systems. Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements related to the Life and Annuity domain is highly preferred.
• Certifications: LOMA certification or similar certifications related to the Life and Annuity domain is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams, including coordinating with offshore teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide actionable solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate testing strategies, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Tools and Technologies: Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail) and CI/CD integration tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing in the Life and Annuity domain.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing and related technologies.
