Mason/Bricklayer

Job Overview
*Profit sharing bonuses on top of listed pay range for team members that stay with us.* We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to construct, repair, and restore structures made of brick, block, and stone. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Duties

• Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stone.
• Ensure proper alignment and level of masonry units during installation.
• Mix mortar and other materials as needed for various projects.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• (optional)Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces on various installations.
• Execute hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Restore historical brickwork or masonry structures while maintaining their original integrity.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels.
• Experience with power tools including saws and drills specific to masonry work.
• (optional)Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques to achieve desired surface quality.
• Expertise in hardscape design and installation for outdoor living spaces.
• Understanding of roofing principles related to masonry structures.
• Strong restoration skills for preserving the beauty of older brickwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
