Now Hiring: Construction Safety Manager – San Francisco, CA
Location: San Francisco, CA (Local Candidates Only – No Per Diem)
Duration: 5 Months
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 hours/week (6 am - 2:30 pm)
Start Date: Immediate
We’re seeking a Construction Safety Manager (Intern/Entry-Level) to join a construction project in San Francisco starting immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their safety career or studying in a related field who wants on-site experience and professional growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with daily site safety observations and reporting
- Oversee safety around non-permit confined space areas, specifically manholes
- Support enforcement of safety policies and proper PPE use
- Document incidents, near misses, and compliance efforts
- Work closely with site supervisors and experienced safety staff
Requirements:
- Local to the San Francisco Bay Area (NO Per Diem or Travel Provided)
- Interest in construction safety, occupational health, or a related field
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a willingness to learn
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Ability to work full-time (M–F) on-site for the duration of the project
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Any previous construction or safety-related experience
- Current student or recent graduate in Construction Management, Safety, or similar
