- Pay range: $46.00 - $57.00/hr
- Shift: Normal business hours
- Duration: Ongoing consultant, currently a weeks’ worth of work
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- Experience with writing software for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
- Proficiency in programming with easySoft, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) compatible with existing environment.
- Proficiency in programming with Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
- Strong knowledge of Python and LabVIEW programming
- At least 5 years of experience in the field including defining user requirements, control system design, programming, testing and documentation, and system performance qualifications.
- Integration experience in a manufacturing environment, to assist with the transfer of process fixtures and testing methodology to manufacturing
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Develop and implement system controls for electro-mechanical control systems.
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to design hardware controls.
- Ensure designs meet hardware control requirements and specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures
