Summary of Responsibilities
Provides overall construction cost support for the Project Manager based on size and risk of the project. Responsible for the development, maintenance, analysis and distribution of the project’s resource and productivity plans. Also responsible for timely schedule updates and distribution based on input from both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project performance and perform trend analysis on specific projects including man hours, labor costs, equipment costs, and unit rates for selected construction activities.
- Interact with internal and external project teams to gather and prepare project cost and schedule information in support of the project manager’s construction plan.
- Review and analyze project costs and schedule, highlight areas of concern, and recommend courses of action.
- Incorporate individual project schedules into an overall Master Portfolio schedule, ensuring schedule and resource data integrity, consistency, and alignment with 5-year capital plan.
- Manage project accruals and forecasting, ensuring alignment with project schedule and incorporation with 5-year capital plan.
- Experience with Maximo, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Power Bi preferred.
