GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Warehouse Lead will help maintain all day-to-day operations in the warehouse.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be acting Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Will coach and train new hires on the warehouse standard operating procedures.
Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies, and Inventory Items.
Monitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed.
Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure products are on hand as needed.
Participates with Inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company.
Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received.
Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by following all warehouse SOPs and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
Properly pack/stage items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
Organize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.
Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items.
Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
Motivated and works well with others.
Strong leadership skills.
Willingness to embrace change in a growing company.
Forklift experience a plus.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills are essential, as communication is vital to warehouse operations.
Must interact with basic office software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet/forms.
Record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory.
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
The customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items at a high standard.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
This position requires working in a warehouse environment.
Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) and all-weather conditions
