What you will do:
The Project Manager assumes responsibility for the profitability and loss control of each assigned project. Success in this position requires a great deal of collaboration with our customers, subcontractors, superintendents, and other internal team members. Close monitoring and knowledge of claims issues, labor and material loss and gain is also necessary and is the responsibility of the Project Manager. The Project Manager is the company's focal point for assigned projects. They are responsible for meeting the requirements of the contract agreements in place in a timely fashion and with a high degree of quality, integrity, and accuracy.
What you bring:
- 5 years of construction-related project management experience in the K-12 or Educational markets.
- Experience managing multiple construction projects of significant scope and ranging in size from $10m - $100m
- Extensive use and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Use of an ERP or a construction management system like Viewpoint, Smartbid, ProCore, New Forma, Adobe Docs, AIA, Bluebeam; scheduling tools like Primavera P6; and document sharing programs like Box.com, Dropbox or Google Drive.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A focus on teamwork – continually listen, collaborate, and communicate among your colleagues, customers, and partners
- Strong work ethic - be deadline driven, reliable, and maintain a flexible and approachable personality with staff, while securing the highest level of confidentiality.
