The Team Lead must project a positive attitude, be open and willing to help others when needed and have excellent attendance.
- Leads Tier meetings.
- Analyzes daily order patterns and workforce levels to meet customer demands.
- Conducts daily safety audits and ensures all employees are wearing appropriate PPE and operating safely.
- Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Demonstrates the ability to encourage others to cooperate and work together.
- Works independently with superior results.
- Collaborates across departments to resolve conflicts and facilitate smooth operations.
- Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are followed.
- Works from prints, sketches, specifications, and instructions to order and maintain stock, communicate orders, check employees’ work, monitor equipment, ensure absence of defects on products; notify supervisor of unusual conditions, equipment malfunction, or material discrepancies; maintain equipment and work area in clean, orderly condition.
- Performs set up and troubleshoots all equipment and products in the department.
- Must be flexible with hours across all shifts to train and coach and be qualified to coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department.
- Oversees equipment operation and employee performance, addressing any discrepancies.
- Assists the supervisor with the daily planning and scheduling activities.
- Coordinates special programs and projects and can facilitate activities working with Production, Engineering, and R&D.
- Serves as the main contact in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Develops and monitors standard work processes to optimize department efficiency.
- Conducts regular 5S audits, ensuring the department is organized and tools are readily available.
The hourly range for this position starts at $23/hr $3/hr shift differential.

- Mechanical skills

- Experience operating manufacturing machinery
- Experience with lock out/tag out (LOTO)
- Understanding of how to use machine guarding
