Minor Operator - 3rd Shift (QCM)

Quanex is looking for a Minor Operator – 3rd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH.

Summary: This position will be responsible for producing quality products with minimum strip, in addition to working to create an organized and productive work environment.

What Success Looks Like:

• Effective communication with other Minor operators.
• Weigh up raw materials per recipe.
• Check floor daily to prevent extra bags being weighed.
• Properly label skids, boxes, sides of carts, and complete any applicable documentation.
• Knowledge of and assist with FIFO system.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Your Credentials:

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis.

The Hourly wage for this position is $18 per hour and $1.00/hour shift premium 3rd Shift.

3rd Shift = 10:45pm – 7:00am
