Quanex is looking for an Assembler-2nd Shift to join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
This position performs repetitive assembly in a production environment. The parts produced in our facility include window balances, handle sets, and locks.

What Success Looks Like:
- Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions
- Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders
- Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process
- Ability to lift and move 35 pounds
- Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards
- Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and quality standards
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Cross train in other departments as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Credentials:
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to communicate with others
- Ability to find and correct safety hazards
- Ability to alternate stand for 10-hour shift
- Less than high school education
- One month of job-related experience preferred
The hourly rate of pay for this position $17.00 per hour plus $1.25/hour for shift premium for 2nd shift.
