What Success Looks Like:
- Leads and promotes a culture of safety first.
- Conducts daily safety audits and ensures all employees are wearing appropriate PPE and operating safely.
- Reports unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Assist and actively participate in all accident/near miss investigations and quality corrective/preventative action.
- Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are being followed.
- Communicates orders; checks employees’ work; monitors equipment; ensures absence of defects on products.
- Notifies leadership of unusual conditions, equipment malfunction, or material discrepancies.
- Maintains equipment and work area in clean, orderly condition.
- Must project oneself in an open, friendly manner and work well with others.
- Must demonstrate the ability to encourage others to cooperate and work together.
- Must be relied on to work independently with superior results.
- Must be qualified to coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department
- Coordinate and collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless operations.
Your Credentials:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Three to five years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- Two to three years of forklift experience preferred.
- Experience training or leading others preferred.
The hourly salary for this position is $23.15. "Based on experience"
