What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Roller position at Quanex?
Quanex is looking for a Door Roller to join our team located in Chehalis, WA . This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday 5 : 30am-2 : 00pm.
The salary range for this position is from 19.50 / hr - 25.35 / hr DOE.
The Door Roller is responsible for working with team members to install screen mesh into door screen frames and properly sequencing orders.

What Success Looks Like :

- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Read build instructions from computer monitor ensuring proper length, type and color of materials.
- Eventual cross training to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
- Verify size, color, customer, configuration (hardware), according to labeling system.
- Ensure standard work adherence.
- Apply labels to frame upon completion.
- Properly securing door screen frames to rolling table and applying screen appropriately.
- Visually inspect for defects throughout process.
- Chooses appropriate cloth types according to specification tag.
- Using hand rolling, sharp knife, and pneumatic tools to secure cloth and accessories to frame.
- Sequencing into shipping cart or pallet.
- Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements.
- Meet or exceed the production standards for the position.
- Perform related work as required.
- Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
