Quanex is looking for a safety conscious, Machine Operator to join our Night Shift team located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
In this role, you are responsible for setting-up, operating and verifying the quality of work on assigned machines (Planer/Gluer/Gang Saw/Chop Saw) in a manner to consistently meet production standards and qualifications.

- Pay range is $15.75 - $17.00 per hour - starting wage is based on relatable machine operation experience
- Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:30p - 6:00a & Overtime on Friday if needed
- Saturday and Sunday Nights Off!
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
- Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position.
- Monitors product constantly to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Performs basic preventative maintenance as required
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- 6 months of related machine operating experience.
- Experience with basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- Accountability and initiative
- Basic Computer Skills preferred
