What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator- Night Shift - Cabinet Door position at Quanex?
Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator (Night Shift) - Cabinet Door Plant to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Shift: Monday - Thursday (4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Overtime)
Pay: Starting Rate: $19.00 an hour, more based on experience 12% shift differential
In this role, you will work with a seasoned crew, running equipment that is used to make cabinet door parts such as moulders, sanders, cope machines, CNC machines, as well as assembling cabinet doors. This position requires prior machine operating experience, preferably in woodworking.

What Success Looks Like:
- Monitors product constantly to ensure quality standards are being met.
- Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
- Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues.
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.
- Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Consistently lift 20-30 pounds & ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
- At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience
