As the leader of the manufacturing plant, you will be accountable for leading a team that meets or exceeds customer, productivity, quality and financial goals. What Success Looks Like:
- Establish and communicate a vision for the plant that motivates employees and aligns to corporate strategies.
- Participate in annual budgeting and strategic planning processes.
- Create the overall strategy for the plant including a long-range capital plan and roadmap to execute.
- Serves as a safety advocate and communicates Quanex’s Cardinal Safety Rules to all employees.
- Assure all production orders are completed on schedule, per budget, and at the expected quality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Direct and manage key operational functions including production, maintenance, and shipping and receiving.
- Champion a continuous improvement and innovation philosophy for the plant.
- Create and sustain a culture of talent development, effective performance management, and accountability.
What You Bring:
- 10 years of experience of progressive manufacturing experience with a minimum of 5 years in leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a business related field. Experience in lieu of education.
- Demonstrated ability to build and engaging culture and achieve financial and operational results.
The salary range for this position is $115K - $165K with the potential to earn an annual bonus.
