As the Product Development Manager, you’ll be expected to provide strong strategic vision and execution to support company objectives, revenue, and profit goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver meaningful and innovative product solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations and coordinate project management efforts for successful new products introductions.

What Success Looks Like:
- Represent Voice of Customer through a Stage-Gate product development process.
- Manage the new product development process.
- Oversee the creation of all product manufacturing drawings used in production.
- Oversee the design of products with design for manufacturability, assembly, and profitability concepts.
- Stay abreast of trends and recommend innovation of products, processes, and equipment.
- Develops and maintains project management systems for new products development.
- Will need to be able to travel to customers with sales as required.
- Ensure new products are in compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Recommend new products/programs for evaluation.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to Product Development and Engineering teams.
- Provide oversight of configuration design in multiple platforms in each location. Working closing with IT for optimal results.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the competitive product lines.
Your Credentials:
- Four-year degree in manufacturing management, engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of five years of related work experience in product engineering or product design required.
- Minimum of three years management experience required.
- Knowledge of wood industry and/or products preferred.
The salary range for this position is $90K to $120K w/ bonus potential
