What Success Looks Like:
- Operate in a fast paced work environment while performing various tasks.
- Test production compounds on the following equipment: MDRP, MV-200, Melt Flow, Shore A (Hardness), Specific Gravity, Colorimeter, and Lab Mill.
- Incoming Raw Material testing. (Carbon Black Titrator, Sieve Shaker, unlock silos and sign off on sheet, FTIR, and Microscope). Retain and test specific raw materials.
- Be sure batch dip is in specification (moisture tester)
- Organize and file completed test data. Supply test data to customers.
- Approve production compounds for shipping.
- Approve Certificates of Analysis for all incoming raw materials.
- Identify and track non-conforming products.
- Mill Rubber, Press Swatches, etc.
- Utilize a PC to enter and analyze data
Additional Job Responsibilities, Skills, and Abilities:
- Maintain Test Equipment and general housekeeping and daily/weekly 5s duties.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Computer Skills – MS Excel, MixVision
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
Your Credentials:
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School or GED preferred
- Willing to work overtime including weekends
- Close visual work required. Ability to read information in a variety of formats
- Knowledge of general computer skills and attention to detail
Hourly Range is $19.70-$22.00/hour based on experience plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 3rd Shift
3rd Shift = 10:45pm to 7am
